With a gain of 22 dB and a 1 dB compression point of +22 dBm, the output power of the tracking generator can be increased to a maximum of 150 mW.

The TBMDA1 modulated wideband driver amplifier is designed to create a low-cost signal source for immunity testing of electronic building blocks and products. It is designed to be driven by the tracking generator output of a spectrum analyzer. With a gain of 22 dB and a 1 dB compression point of +22 dBm, it can boost the output power of the tracking generator up to 150 mW. The TBMDA1 is ideal for driving Tekbox near-field probes to generate electric fields of up to 50 V/m when locating sensitive spots in electronic circuits or when driving the Tekbox TEM cell TBTC1, or 25 V/m when driving TBTC2 or 18 V/m when driving TBTC3. The test signals for immunity testing can be CW, AM, or PM. As a result, the TBMDA1 provides built-in modulation capabilities to generate 1 kHz AM or PM signals. In PM mode, the TBMDA1 can also generate a 217 Hz signal with a 12.5% duty cycle to simulate mobile phone TDMA noise.

The TBMDA2 wideband driver amplifier with modulation capability is designed to create a low-cost signal source for immunity testing of electronic building blocks and products. It is intended to be driven by the tracking generator output of a spectrum analyzer. With a +27dBm 1dB compression point, it can boost the output power of the tracking generator up to 500mW. The TBMDA2 can drive Tekbox near-field probes to find sensitive spots in electronic circuits, or create electric fields of up to 170V/m when driving the Tekbox TEM cell TBTC0, and is optimal for 100V/m when driving TBTC1 at 50V/m. When driving TBTC2 or TBTC3, it can produce 30V/m. The test signals for immunity testing can be CW, AM, or PM. As a result, the TBMDA2 provides built-in modulation capabilities to generate 1 kHz AM or PM signals. In PM mode, the TBMDA2 can also generate a 217 Hz signal with a 12.5% duty cycle to simulate mobile phone TDMA noise.

It operates in the frequency range of 1 GHz to 3 GHz and is designed to be driven by the output of a spectrum analyzer's tracking generator. The 1 dB compression point is an average of 350 mW. The saturation output is an average of 500 mW, amplifying the output of the tracking generator to drive the Tekbox near-field probe, allowing for the detection of sensitive areas in electronic circuits, or generating electric fields of up to 150 V/m CW and 80 V/m AM when driving the Tekbox TEM Cell TBTC 0, 80 V/m CW and 45 V/m AM when driving TBTC1, 40 V/m CW and 25 V/m AM when driving TBTC2, and 27 V/m CW and 15 V/m AM when driving TBTC3. The test signals for immunity testing can be CW, AM, or PM. The TBMDA7 has built-in modulation capabilities to generate 1 kHz AM or PM signals. In PM mode, the TBMDA7 can also generate a 217 Hz signal with a 12.5% duty cycle to simulate mobile phone TDMA noise.
